🇬🇧 Seventy years ago, the debut of the 356 America Roadster version inaugurated a successful series of vehicles dedicated to the US market.
The Porsche special series dedicated to the stars and stripes market continues in the footsteps of tradition. A lucky, and appreciated, dedication that began in 1952 when the 356 America Roadster was produced in 16 units on the recommendation of the importer of the Stuttgart brand Max Hoffman. A project which then served as the basis for the subsequent 356 Speedster and which was (re) celebrated in 1992 with the 964 America Roadster (built in only 250 units). Retracing the same cadence, the 70 years since its debut are the occasion for a new limited edition version: 911 Carrera Gts Cabriolet America edition. Developed in collaboration between the Porsche exclusive Manufaktur department and Porsche North America, it has unique aesthetic customizations and a technical-mechanical approach that favors the “classic” pleasure of driving. The price is $ 184,920
🇮🇹 Prosegue nel solco della tradizione la serie speciale Porsche dedicata al mercato a stelle e strisce. Una fortunata, e apprezzata, dedica iniziata nel 1952 quando la 356 America Roadster fu prodotta in 16 esemplari su indicazione dell’importatore del marchio di Stoccarda Max Hoffman. Un progetto che servì poi da base per la successiva 356 Speedster e che venne (ri)celebrato nel 1992 con la 964 America Roadster (realizzata in sole 250 unità). Ripercorrendo la medesima cadenza, i 70 anni dal debutto sono l’occasione per una nuova versione in edizione limitata: 911 Carrera Gts Cabriolet America edition. Sviluppata in collaborazione tra il reparto Porsche exclusive Manufaktur e Porsche North America, ha personalizzazioni estetiche uniche e un’impostazione tecnico meccanico che privilegia il piacere “classico” della guida. Il prezzo è di 184.920 dollari (176.800 euro).
